The Watson House

The Watson House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Build in 1898 by Ward Watson (an Indiana state senator, judge and lawyer), it rests on the site of the Green Tree Tavern built in 1812 by James Bigger where the Inaugural Ball was held in 1816 for Jonathan Jennings, Indiana's first Governor.
